Wil R.P. McCarthy was born in upstate NY. His father re-enlisted in the US Navy when Wil was six. Moving him up and down the east coast multiple times in his youth. He has suffered from Manic Depression since the age of twelve and Schizophrenia since his early twenties. He discovered an outlet in writing. His short stories are his escape and his poetry he found helped him cope. Later he found it helped others. He continues to write to show others they are not alone in the way they feel and that it's ok to not be ok.
