Sam Palmer's love for writing began when she won a writing contest in the 4th grade with her essay “How The Lion Got His Name”. Her writing has since evolved into darker themes exploring the grittier parts of life and human nature. Her passion is creating, whether that's writing short stories, art, or cooking. She  lives in Southern California with her husband and their two corgis. In her free time she enjoys cooking, traveling, working on her art, writing and managing her writing prompt group on Facebook– Writer's Island.
